I found this on a site called mobile57...

There are for other phones too. Sometimes they use words IT IS RUMORED TO HAVE and sometimes IT WILL HAVE..
Find X2, Pixel 4, U13+, OP7.
By the way.... I think vivo is going to bring a phone with glass frame, like one of Sony's concept design. I just dont remember the name.
*** BAD NEWS = Mesa told Digital Trends that there wont be XZ4c. Low demand for small screens ..

I am glad Sony are making changes at executive level. That's just want I wanted to see. Now hopefully this is true that we get to see a small glimpse of the direction Sony is heading to.

Why would they drop the resolution of the display back down to FHD+ when the XZ3 is using a 1440p display? |

Maybe the "xz4" is the Premium... Just maybe without the name Premium.

Executive changes are good but it takes times to trickle down to design departments. The top guys would have said they want the phone to be this and that but it's still the designers and engineers who have to make it a reality. We are already seeing the changes which was the XZ3 so let's see how they develop.
Regarding mobile57, i don't think the XZ4 will be LCD, they wouldn't go backwards like that. My concern is about whether the Compact and Premium will be OLED, 4K OLED would be something beautiful to behold.
I'm sure XZ4 Compact will at least appear in Japan. |

Compact line is probably dead, according to the interview.
They want to be first 4K oled, no way they wait IFA and see note10 comes first.
I think they are going to kill Compact, Ultra and Plus.
Keeping 2 flagships ( 4K and QHD), XA and L3.
How many have passed FCC? |

I wear 32 waist short leg skinny jeans, a lot of phones feel very uncomfortable in my pocket and I'm always very active at work. I really appreciate small phones, it's about comfort and practicality so if there's no Compact then I guess I'm done unfortunately. If a phone doesn't fit nicely in my pocket I dismiss it immediately no matter how amazing it is. I suppose the S9 or S10 size is what I need now. |

^aren't s9/s10 pretty big too? i mean they are definitely not compact size.
maybe they won't be making a "compact" per se, but they'll be doing better at fitting larger screens in smaller bodies. let's hope so anyway.
about 6 more weeks to go til we find out I guess.

S9 has the size of Z phones.
S10E maybe be size of iphone Xs, while S10 the size of S9.
This tall Xperia is tipped to be 16,6cm... Which means 2 cm taller than z3.
Taller than XA1 Ultra but same width of z3.
If you have z3, z4 or z5... Just add 2cm to height.. Then you'll know how new phone feels

I even think they will just do 1 flagship. Compact may be limited to Japanese market.
One flagship are enough. U can see galaxy note and galaxy s are almost the same thing. Stylus are the only major different. And most of the time people aren't really using it. |

Sony maybe use Samsung Display's OLED.
Samsung is going to start chicken game on mobile OLED panel market.
Samsung Display is supplying their flexible OLED panel price 10 to 20% lower than previous, and expect to have Sony, Google and Xiaomi as a additional customer
