If you say so. But I doubt the leaked device is 5g. This must mean there'll be at least 2 new devices at ifa. They'd better release whatever they announce soon.
I agree with no 5G device part but what makes you think there will be at least 2 new devices? |

If there's a 4g only X1 campact-ish, there must be a 5g device seperate from it like X1 5g. IF the hint is about 5g. |

Press in 40h (I think it will be 3:30 am for those who live in east coast of USA).
Still no final specs.
We dont know how many devices.
Nor if the very small phone is real.

Pretty confident that there is an Xperia 1 5G version, don't know if RAM and storage will be upgraded. Xperia 20 team removed because it was rubbish, too similar to Xperia 10 which is also a total sales flop. I'm genuinely excited because they say this phone is made for one handed use! |

I'm not expecting any as they've only just released the WF M3, and they skipped M2 to align with the WH.
They were referring to a new WH-10000XM4, which has not even appeared on the FCC, so do not expect it at ifa.
Don't think any aligning is occurring, the new WI-1000XM2 which should be at IFA is not a mark 3 but a mark 2. There is a chance that the WF-1000XM2 was to be released but the product was cancelled for some reason.

Android 10 rollout today
Pixel 2~3a, Essential Phone, Xiaomi K20 Pro.
maybe XZ2~3 will get 10 upgrade on October?
Sony did Pie upgrade just a month later Google rollout Pie on Pixel devices.

We never saw a Xperia 20 with fps and power buttons separated. So global release was only a maybe already.

I suppose they are not crazy enough to call a device of 15.7 cm as "Xperia in the palm of your hands", cause not even Z3 is one hand device.
Instead of watching the press, it is better idea to open the 2020 topic.

I think it is safe to open the 2020 topic after the IFA show since most of the new and exciting stuff will be announced and released in 2020. This topic can stay open for a couple of months if there would be some regional releases before the end of '19 but most of the conversation will be about the 2020 products so I support starting this topic after IFA.
EDIT: also, can we get some moderators to oversee the 2020 topic since often times this kind of topics are polluted and diluted with conversation about the products that are either already announced or even already available. Somebody should oversee this topic and delete all offtopic conversation especially subjects like I described earlier.
