Youu get a snapdragon 630! You get a snapdragon 630 too! You, you, you, everyone gets a snapdragon 630. For fxxxs sake stop it.
Did they get it in a bundle or something? |

They probably have to make an agreement with Qualcomm on the number of processors they want, and since all their phones are complete flops (in terms of sales) in the recent years - they have big surplus of processors which they will reuse in the future models.

Apple have their favorites A, most iPads use old cpu.
Anyone can have favorite CPU.
You all can have a favorite too.

I bet samsung loves 810. They crushed the competition the year it was released. It messed up at least sony and LG. Next year samsung snatched 820 production while keeping the first batch to themselves.
Sony needs a new favorite. |

Seems like someone posted this on XB.
" This is what I heard about so-called Xperia 20 (don’t know if it’s the final device name). Xperia 20 is the “real” first mid-range of new series. Xperia 10 & 10 Plus were developed as X series, supposed to be released at CES (XA3 series), but new management decided to release them as new “number only” series along with X1. This is why model numbers of 10/10 plus are “I” instead of “J”. Xperia 20 will have SDM710, LCD, FHD+. Not sure which countries will have it but not US for sure. Could be released only in Japan where au is the only operator to carries this model."

I'm not sure I believe that.
If they were developed as XA3, why do they bear no resemblance to that range, and are 21:9?
I could believe it if they were like the L3, but the 10 range are so different they couldn't just be a tweaked XA3, they had to have been developed as part of the new line up.

They are trying to gather all resource currently available instead of getting something new, then move 1 small step for new series mid-range phone. Even the dual camera setup is just unplanned, sort of   |

Previous XA devices got imx300 from flagships.
Anyone would expect new midranges to earn imx400 when flagships get new exmor.
Is it costs cut?
I cannot think of any other reason.
From 1/2.3" to 1/2.8" and 1/3".
Looking at this "X20" , it must have 26 + 52 because bulge is big like 10+, something 10 does not have.
Bonus: if you live in USA , your X1 will arrive in 12/july/2019 ... 😏

Any smartwatch suggestions to pair with Xperia 1?
Eye-ing at Fossil Gen 4, but the battery life is questionable. |

I have no idea if Apple Watch works with android phones.

Same case when you look at Xperia 1, you wont expect it to get a smaller sensor and drop the wireless charging  But they did. And this move is trying to differentiate product line |

Samsung has been copying all Sony sensors.
If they announced a 64MP one, must be an Exmor this high too.
I bet Sony ordeded to remove 666 from wiki page .. 😒

Take this with a bottle of salt.
I was talking to a salesperson in Sony retail at SG, casually mentioning how sad it was that I cant obtain X1 locally but to source from other countries.
The guy then mentioned that many ppl came and asked the same thing too! What's more, he said Sony is TEMPORARILY halting the stock and limiting the sales to certain region of asia only. They MIGHT resume the sales of Xperia for the upcoming gen. Now upcoming could be the Xperia 2, or the successor of X1. Idk.
SO YEAH.
NOW IM doubting my decision to get an imported set from TW or HK. |
