Xperia 10's design actually functions like a bezelless design. Since the display is pushed down the maximum height you have to reach is independent of the upper bezel. So if this compact has similar design it'll be under 14cm where you have to reach max, which is the overall height of a compact device. Not that bad but still harder to use than a 4.6 16:9.
The sumaho article has a comment ss which claims dual camera. I think it's safe to think it won't have the aube or the old sensor. Could even share specs with 10+. Or 1's main cam and a different focal length one like the super wide is what we can expect at best imo. |

Pop up selfie camera means no waterproofing. LCD display as well, why not go for OLED? Just wait for IFA, maybe if there is a 6 inch qHD device with OLED it could be much better than this nonsense Compact. |

Midrange doesn't have ip ratings anyway. Told here before if they are gonna make that 7" midrange they should make it bezelless with a pop-up selfie. Now it's real? Since when do we trust nodar?  |

10+ is already 16,7cm.
If they make a 7" with same design, it would maybe pass 17,5. Too big ...
I'd never buy ambig phone like Mate 20X. Not even my pants have space for that.

7" 21:9 is already 163.4mm add 4 mm top and bottom 171.4x78mm
the concept is fine but realisticly it'll have more bezels than that. The thing is it'll be the first square cornered device with this design. I look forward to seeing that. If that's real. |

Zack says 1's cam is still not final. But they've sent it to dxo? Why would they do that if it's not performing its best. Or the dxo leak was fake? Do they wait for fw updates? |

I hope they do not do like last year and ship phone without everything.
Would be a big failure if they ship it without Cinema Pro, same way XZ2P came without solo monochrome and bokeh.

I don't think it is a matter of improving quality, it must be a glitch or a bug, something about inconsistency maybe. When first samples arrived owner of that account said the multi frame processing was leaving artifacts and the night processing wasn't done. Some sources say June launch in Europe. Hope it's ready by then with everything they promised. |

As long as it comes before IFA.
Last year they delayed phone because cam was not ready.
Phone shipped without two modes.
Now delayed again.

If XZ4 was cancelled , then they made 1.
Is there any chance that XZ2P successor is IFA phone and not 1?
Having 4K does not mean it is the main phone.
Nothing keeps them from only having 4K flagships from now.
Bonus: I saw a Mate 20 Pro x XZ2P (auto 10MP x manual 40MP x auto 12MP x manual 17 MP rgb only). Most of the times winner was Mate 10MP auto or Premium 17MP manual. |
