The imx607 is a WRGB sensor.
Few exmor are rgb/monochrome same time, but none is for mobile.
If they drop the monochrome, they need a 1" rgb to match the high iso performance.

As long the main does not have OIS , dont care if the other do.
Tons of devices will use 1/2" ( exmor and isocell) ...
1/2.55" have limitations that s10 will show ...

But sadly I bet the ToF is the one withou OIS.

Hmm, someone is going to Barcelona I guess. Be sure to find the tallest building/cliff and jump off of it, with or without a parachute. I know nothing.

The article says the W pixels kind of negates the need for a seperate mono sensor. This sensor seems newer than Quad Bayer ones. It'd be a shame if Huawei had it but Xperia didn't. But it has quad pixel af. Tony, your code had 2P-dual pixel. Maybe it's for the 5G model.

One without OIS? The front cam?

Tof sensors may have different lens sturcture idk if they can have ois.

On the other hand zoom cams generally have inferior specs so...

Zackbuks actually confirmed the presence of ois right?

He said that the camera hump is there because it got the module bigger

I think the tof sensor will be the one without ois
It would be a shame if the main sensor lacked ois

WRGB is in the middle of RGB and mono.
Brighter than the RGB but still cant catch as much light as mono.

75% of the sensor is still RGB.

Unless they put a much larger sensor, I do not see how they could replace the mono and keep the skills of xz2p. If I had xz2P I would take a lot of BW pics. Regular effects are not same level.

this is trustworthy media?

https://t.cj.sina.com.cn/arti[....]=qudao&sendweibouid=2708017977

it says XZ4 with dual cam, XZ4 premium with triple.
If true, it means we haven't seen XZ4 but XZ4P

The figure on the gsmarena article shows 2 color 2 white. I don't know the actual sensor but if it's dual bayer and white it leaves 2 for the white. Pdf shows different arrays, it may be accurate for what the researchers did but it wasn't for the sensor we're talking about. But anyway, no matter what we think, it's already happened. And judging by rumors it's possible that mono is canned. It's a good thing. It took precious space for limited use. Gsmarena even preffered the single f1.8 lens. It just needs a little more post processing to reduce noise.

Sumaho says someone posted a photo of a battery on comment session of an article from android police.
And this photo would be battery of new phone.
This battery is 3300mAh.

I hope this is a joke ..... They cant use less than 3550.

Provided if Sony themselves came up with a really good display with vibrant colors and superb sunlight legibility AND reduce battery consumption by 50 percent .
