@hgautam
I got me a dedicated USB-C headset and it was not good so I'm going to use the dongle and my old Sony headphones for the moment. I'm surprised that the likes of Sony and Beats have not got USB-C wired headphones.

@everyone
So I'm using a blue theme and my lock screen clock is blue and the notifications are white but when you have the lift to wake function on, as you lift the phone you get the white clock but the notifications are black. Is there a way to get that as your standard lock screen look or is it exclusive to the lift to wake?

My phone is holding up well scratch wise, the back is faring less well than the front, which prompted me to buy a case. The blue Terrapin case goes particularly well with the silver version.

I picked up my old Z5 Compact today, which had been stored away for a while, as it was needed as a replacement for a friend's lost phone. Wow!! It feels half the weight of the XZ2.

I think it's just the September security patch.

Anyone know of a rough ETA for Android 9.0 on the XZ2? Sony have been ahead of the competition in the past for timely updates.

XZP is slated for PIE by end of november... so I would assume XZ2 should get it this month (oct) or early nov.

Hi guys. I am having issues with downloading and changing themes. Any theme I download does not appear with preloaded themes. Also I noticed that the preloaded themes need to be downloaded again, and when I download them they disappear from the theme menu.

Anyone else experienced the same issue, and if so is there a way round this aside from having to do a factory reset?

Android Pie has just arrived on XZ2!
Check your device for updates!
I'm downloading as I type!

Good things:

- Battery
Lower stand-by draining, less consumption under heavy use (gaming or streaming movies)
Got 09:04hrs of SOT and one ful day and eight hours from my first charge after the update

- Camera
Better lowlight shots using auto mode, white balance adjust is quickier now
Front facing camera less noisy under bad light conditions

- Performance
Fast, FAST, FAST! Freakin fast! Applications open as if they were minimized before!
All interface is smoother, transitions is solid and fluent!
Did I mention it got faster??

Bad things:
- White navbar (personal)
- Some apps aren't otpimized for Pie yet (Poweramp stopped recognizing HTC audio adapter as USB DAC, Hi/by and USB Audio Player is OK)
- Clock on the left side (personal)
- The multimedia volume pop-up window (personal)

So, everything's running well!
Only a few visual things will not please everyone.
