Camera is very impressive personally. Can definitely see an improvement over the XZ Premium.

Sadly, my XZP had an accident and had to be replaced. I got myself an XZ2. Sony has done some work!

My first impressions are:
- The camera is better and not by a little.
- Battery life is quite a bit better
- The thing flies. I have an S9+ and it seems to me that the XZ2 runs faster and smoother.
- The speakers are much better, finally.

One more thing, I guess it depends on the size of your hand (mine's quite large) but I find the FPS to be positioned in the right place. Yes, compared with the side mounted one it takes some time to get used to, but I wouldn't move it up.

Will we see the new Any Surface instead of the Xperia Home together with Android 9?

@Xpr, Sony will maintain its own interface.
Recalling that the Xperia's system interface are smoother than in other Android phones, I see no reason to change.

The S9+ is slightly louder, but the difference isn't that big. However, the XZ2's both speakers are front facing whereas the S9+'s only one of them is front facing. This means that viewing videos on the XZ2 produces a more immersive experience. Also, the dynamic vibration system is a neat feature when viewing videos.

I've just ordered the XZ2 Compact and wanted to know if anyone uses USB-C headphones or hands free because I hate the idea of using the shitty dongle thing? I'm not into wireless, I like wired but wanted to know if I could get away with using an iPhone set for example.

I would suggest to just switched to Bluetooth ones with good battery backup. you can try for a while....

There is SBH90C from sony, you can you use wirelessly as well as with type C port.... Best of both worlds...

Thanks, will take a look but will most likely go for something cheaper in all honesty. I'm surprised that Sony don't have a wired alternative for Xperia owners.
