@Subhamstylo maybe they want to make their keynote today as fast as possible, like last year's amazing 23 minutes lol. I think they'll focus on TV today and I feel like they have something big in that department, maybe also in Camera and Audio.

Last year A1E and Alpha9 were very well accepted by tech community.
Sony is putting heavy effort on Mirrorless cameras.
It is just weird the fact they treat Z9D as their high end TV and not A1E.

Because Z9D 100 inch one is referred as a reference product for true HDR experience.
All the Oleds have this ABL ("advanced backlight limiter") that hampers the true HDR experience which the monstrous Z9D doesn't suffer from. Furthermore it has over 1000 local dimming zones that will give it close to the infinite contrast of an Oled. But over 2800 nits of peak brightness is mane. True HDR

Soruce Sony: Weβre targeting 2018 as a breakthrough year, and look forward to showcasing further innovations across the entire Xperia portfolio over the coming months.
2018 is a revolutionary year (for Xperia) and will develop a more innovative Xperia lineup over the next few months. |

My wishlist for 2019/2020
- XA series 2019 ( if name is kept) to bring IP68 and front dual speakers
- HDR for midranges too.
- Flagship with 1/1.6" 20.7 MP, 24mm, f1.9 , zoom 5x
- Rear cam as fingerprint scanner, same way front cam can be used to scan iris or face by other OEMs.
- 16MP, 1/2.6" selfie on flagships + flash led, able to do 4K
- 155% sRGB
- Video 4K HDR 120fps
- Dual sim not hybrid
- Graphene battery
- Micro LED or Crystal LED screen ( I bet Apple and Sammy will be using on phones before 2021)
- Titanium frame
- NFC wireless charging

So there's no portrait mode on XA2 Ultra even it has dual front camera... Weird...

Why is it weird? The setup is not the same as other dual camera setup. One is for normal selfie and the other is for wide angle selfie |

I understand that. Just curious about why SONY choose this setup instead of portrait.
