Did anyone find out about that little notch near usb?
When you look at the phone, the white one, it looks like glass protecton on the phone.

I've put my expectations low for XZ3, that's why I was actually surprised and got excited when it was launched a few hours ago.
Daily Drivers: Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S22 Ultra, and iPhone 14 Pro Max
Secondary: vivo X80 Pro
Still using as a backup: Xperia XZ2
Still using (not as much): Galaxy Tab A 8.0 |

No compact. I heard XZ2 Compact would be the last hi end compact. I may be wrong, but its what i read last time. |

I think because the metal frame is much slimmer now, that notch is needed to give decent support to the charging port and also because the phone is very curved hence the bigger notch. |

That feature was there since XZ. It consists of laser AF, RGBC-IR sensor, and the image sensor itself.

as expected. nothing too impressive. forgive me if i'm wrong but side sense seems to be very much like galaxy edge's features? but with a bit of "AI" (i use that term loosely) thrown in?
at least they only waited 6 months for this "fixed" version of XZ2. if it were samsung, they'd wait the full year and claim it's totally a worthy upgrade. seems sony is offering it as basically an xz2 with enhanced features, but not quite premium features.
To their credit, at least it will launch in a month instead of their usual 3-4 months from announcement.

It seems the consensus for Sony fans is that they don't like the curved and larger display of the phone while other people really like the new design. Personally, I love it. It looks so sleek and everyone's praising the new OLED screen.
