Of course that's fake, that is a fan-made concept.

By the way, about the new Home Launcher, I think they're going to fully redesign their UI to match the AnySurface UI. They already implemented some AnySurface elements in XZ2's lockscreen.

Looking forward to Sony refreshing everything.

I will go with Xiaomi Mi Max 3 this year until one day a Xperia Z Ultra successor arrives.

It's a niche market but with an adjusted limited production an Ultra flagship may fulfill sales expectations (no sales record intended).

I just cropped some parts out and leave it as it. Well maybe the most precise look on how things will be done in the future. Dont look at the picture as a whole...

When you say in the future, is that near future (i.e. 2018/IFA)? Or future future, like next year?

Since the Xperia XZ Premium They have been adding some elements of AnySurface UI.
The Xperia Loops LWP and now the lockscreen with lovely animations.
We will see many animations in the new interface, the Xperia Hello also has elements of this UI.

Yeah. Did you all see this animation when you forgot to turn the alarm on, at around 10 or so hours before the supposed alarm ringing. It looks great.

It starts displaying the clock and alarm icon, then there's an animation like the one in that AnySurface Video we've seen on Sony's website, but more calm and subtle, unlike the aggressive animation on the Sony's website.

Or was it just me who've recognised it just yet?

-----------------

I think with this new UI, Sony phones in the future will not be similar to Vanilla Android anymore, just because of that AnySurface UI. I hope the UI will look very good, without compromising speed and lightness of today's UI.

Please blow our minds, Sony!

I think it's the silver one with ambient lighting giving it a golden tint.

yes, I expect XZ2P to give more than everything being promised...

BTW, here is some interested pic about XZ2. As you can see XZ2 have a lot of "empty space"

Pretty sure it's fake - omnibalance design, different sizes of rear cameras, plus who uses 112gb of storage...?

You mentioned this before. So these spaces are there just for the sake of the back curve?

A lot of empty space sounds like a design failure. Or do you mean next gen won't have much free space inside?

Picture is just illustrative.
112GB must be what's available for the user.
