Looks like battery endurance of Ultra is monstrous..

Tech site of my country is testing right now.
So far almost 4,5h SoT, 61% battery left.

Was really hoping we'd see more from the XZ2 Premium by now. I know we've seen a couple of photo and video samples of its low light capabilities, but I'd love to see it out in the open world up against other top phones. Spek I know you said some units were going out to the hands of reviewers, are those the samples we already got, or should we expect more soon?

Xperia XZ2 review by AndroidHeadlines. From what I can see, XZ2 is very very comparable to every flagship out there, and beats those phones' camera capabilities at times, too!

About the front camera, the reviewer likes it too. Because it has more natural and usable pictures compared to those too smooth shots produced by other phones. The on-screen flash also works great to him. But low-light performance is worse than others, because of the small sensor and aperture.

This is the best review so far, along with Pixel Peepers' reviews. Unlike my local reviewers that's not professional at all (like saying U11 has the best camera they've ever seen). I never liked my local reviewers, though, I'm always avoiding their videos because I know they'll be biased or they're just blind.

XA2 Ultra @rac

They try to simulate daily experience.
It started 07 am.
After 12h , their XA2U still has 47%.
So far about 6,5h SoT.

They never turn on economy features, so this is with STAMINA off..

Is sony still using magnetic fluid sound technology cause i haven't seen that many audio products aur tvs lately with this tech and will they use it in smartphones because it's compactness could help achieve a better sound and more space

don't mean to be THAT guy...

but XZ2 and XZ2P have been announced. This is the rumors thread. Let's keep discussion of announced/released devices to their respective threads. cool? Thanks.

if you want to mention something about them while discussing a device that's rumored, that's cool. but straight up discussion of XZ2 reviews do not belong here.

Whats up with the AI selfie XB talks about?
Hope it is something new, because so far only Sony does not call AI the scene recognition.

After all that happened so far, is XZ2P the main device of 2018?

Sony NEEDS some AI in their camera apps. Especially for their super slow mo, which would make it easier to capture the shots we want.

Scene recognition has been pretty decent for me. but there's always room for improvement and I would like to have the option to choose like back in the old days.

Definitely looking to see more improvements to the dual cam module.
