Just cross posting from the XZ2 thread, but someone had pointed out that GSM Arena also had the XZ2 in their video comparison tool. In low light, this is possibly the best phone for video on the market

Here's a selection of images I put together from the low light comparison of the S9, XZ2 and Pixel 2 XL:

All phones with SD845 can do 4K 60fps SDR. I do not know why it is locked on XZ2.
At least it can be easily added when updated to 8.1...

S845 also supports 4K 60fps HDR but none of the phones (with S845) on the market offers that.

@XJ

April or September?
What kind of black magic they put on XZ2?
Cause 1/8s, ISO 200 without OIS, handheld in a room where light was set 20 lux.
It has to be voodoo, black magic....

September would be my best guess but who knows. All I do know is that this dual sensor Sony showcased at MWC will make all others look redundant and it'll have an exclusive to Sony only for about 2 years too just like the IMX220.

WilleyFox and Meizu had access to imx220.
Meizu had it when z3 was around..
But even after 2,5 years no other brand has imx300.

As long as Sony keeps high resolution, the other wont try to buy these sensors.
So they can be used for midranges in the future.
I hope the successor of L2 brings imx300 and sucessor of XA line brings imx400.

XJ, please tell it is not 12 + 12 ....

High res has advantages...

Better to edit. Better when you see on big screen. Better if you print big photos.

I am not sure if GSMArena website has issues today.
Sometimes you see XZ2 review on main page, but you click on it and there is an error.

Screen : contrast 1434 / sunlight 3.58
Loudspeaker : voice 66dB, noise 71dB, ring 78dB
Battery endurance : 88h

I am still curious why no phone has QC 4.0. It is available since H2 2017.

Not that strange. With very wide angle lenses you might expect to get some blurring in the corners.

One thing I am curious about though, with these eprice pics and the GSM Arena pics is whether these phones are using final software or not. I'd think they would be considering we're this close to launch, but then again the phones at MWC didn't appear to be using final software as they were experiencing crashes and whatnot.
