What are you talking about - it's the same phone!? It just 'looks' better because it is a computer-generated render.
The phone pictured from @evleaks is the Xperia XZ2. The Xperia XZ2 Compact will be chubbier, but essentially look the same phone as the prototype pic in the wild.
I know that the XZ2 pic is different from XZ2c 2 days ago. XZ2c is made of plastic and is chunky, and XZ2 is made of glass-metal that's why I said that I'm happy that XZ2 looks much better than XZ2c.

So almost all the rumors were false  Good job ADIDA and others 
No new Premium, no Dual cams (and probably no improvements in photo quality compared to previous generations as it ueses XZP sensor), design is still 2 years behind the competition at least from what we can see on the leaked photo.
So, again, looks like we will see some mediocre devices form Sony, and we thought we will see something game changing FINALLY. Good job Sony

SONY's not a google and of course SONY can't make a single camera phone that's better than Pixel 2...
Why don't SONY use dual camera ?!

But how Sony cannot make better camera then Google when they have decades of experience working with cameras? They can but looks like they do not have software developers (which Google has, the best ones available) capable to port their knowledge to the mobile devices. Sony had better post processing in the days of SonyEricsson then they have now.

The new design FAIL to impress me on very first sight,
highly as 65% I will not buy this and keep XZ to it third years of service in 2019
Unless, 35% of hands-on and performance will say otherwise. But what to expect with Snapdragon 845 really?

This phone looks ridiculous.
1) vertical sensor bar above camera.
2) FPS in the middle of rear panel.
3) logo on bottom bezel.
4) speakers have different design
XA2 looks far better.
I need an advice... XZP or XZ1? Both same price here.
The patent Samsung resgistered to use cam beneath screen, Sony has one since 2012.

jdi already announced fps sensor inside glass, they probably will use it looks like but not for now.
just notice xz2c and xz2 leaked but our leakstars doesnt say anything like dont expect pro for mwc  ... |

Man, what happened to them? i remember the days when almost every phone they brought out had a special design idea that made them stand out.
