@Moe87
Yes! They even liked the L2 (they scored it a respectable 7).

Xa2 is a great phone
Here in india it is priced at around 310 dollars or 20k INR
Honor view 10 at 460 usd or 30k INR
Galaxy a8 at 510 usd or 33k INR
I think it is competitevely priced.
And btw a8 is overpriced |

Only $310? Nice
I always heard in India there are taxes that increase price a lot.
How about R1/R1+?
Did people like them?

As mush as I'd love to see the new flagship I've got to appluade Sony for their no leak policy. Really looking forward to MWC2018 as I've said before Sony will make heads turn and honestly think people will start to think Samsung who?
Is it really that good?

@Lonewolf223 what u r taking about??
Sony india is drunk..They launch L2 at 20k($310) not XA2..For comparison oppo f5, j7 pro, moto X4 available at same price..
And @Moe87 sony sells their device through a limited numbers of retail stores and max store located at major cities..For tier 2 and tier 3 cities sony hardly have a store....People in tier 1 cities who buy a budget device prefer xaiomi, honor,.. R1 series not that a succes in tier 1 cities
Samsung sells millions of j2,j5 craps via retail stores at tier 2 ,tier 3 cities and rural areas..
So overall as per limited stores R1 's response was average to good(not great)..
But I heard sony plans to increase stores and wants some market share with R1 series..
Back In 2013,2014 sony sell their devices through huge numbers of retail stores..
In 2014 they have 4℅ market share(3.2M devices) (market size was 80M)
Now in 2017 market size was 130M plus , average selling price also increased..But sony's share right now below 1%..(around 1.2M devices) |

But FCC dimensions wise it can't be 16:9..
Surely 18:9 |

Sure it can, if we are talking about the same device, the one with the 5.7 in screen. Both 18:9 and 16:9 will work, but the side bezels on the 16:9 would be super thin, almost too thin. I created these photos the day I posted that dimension info, both screens are 5.7in diagonal and both devices have the same dimensions but left is 18:9 and right is 16:9.
