We moved all Esato content to a brand new server this evening. Please let us know you experience any trouble. I know we had some issues with image upload on the old server. I have tried to fix as much of this as possible. Feel free to post replies in this thread if you still not are able to upload photos.

Quick fact about Esato hardware
2003
1 MiniTower database machine with 1.5GB RAM and a 64GB SCSI disk plus one 1U web server with a 64GB SCSI disk.
Monthly cost: Around EUR 2.500.
Monthly bandwidth limit: 320GB per month

2016
One 1U rack, One 4*core Intel CPU, 32GB RAM, 3*250GB SSD drives running in Raid 5.
Monthly hardware rental and bandwidth cost: Less than EUR 100
Monthly bandwidth limit: None

Thanks, this is great news!

As you had disappeared from here, I thought you had abandoned the esato and this space would end, I am glad that I was wrong.

@ Laffen. Great to see the good work still going stein as well as Esato benefitting from technologies economies of scale.

Curious if the forums engine will be upgraded soon? Wondering if bandwidth throughput being restrictive. Possibly a partnership between Esato and Xperiablog ?

@laffen: Awesome news. Christmas is doing its magic

As Supa_Fly asked, will we be seeing an upgraded forum as well? Hopefully yes.

And don't forget the snow
