I've found a bug that is quite irritating concerning the "New Messages" memory. Does anyone else have this bug? If you have it, or had it, were you able to get rid of it? I have the R2B revision, and it doesn't help. I've reported it to SonyEricsson.

Here's the bug ......

1. Have friend send you 2 sms's. Use different text in each message.

2. Don't press "Yes", when you receive the "New message Read now?" pop-up. Let the pop-up stay there. Wait until you've received both of them.

3. After you've received the 2 sms's, press "Yes", in order to read the messages.

4. Choose one of them and press "Yes" to read it.

5. Then press "Yes" again to get to the Message menu for that sms.

6. Choose (2) Reply. In the Reply menu, choose "Include this message".

7. Send the message back to the sender. You can change the message or send the origonal. It doesn't matter.

8. Now after you've sent the message, you should automatically revert back to the "New Messages" list.

9. Choose the next message by pressing "Yes". Press "Yes" again to see the message. It should be different text from the first one.

10. Press "Yes" to proceed to the "Message" menu.

11. Then choose "(2)Reply". Now in the "Reply" menu choose "Include this msg".

*******
Here's the bug!!! The text that should be there, should be the 2nd message text. But it isn't! It's the text from the first message that you have already answered!
*******

If you don't include the origonal message each time in the "New Messages" section, you won't see the bug.

Let's just hope that the next revision will squash this bug!

Be cool guys.

kallingen, you're lucky you don't need the function and won't have to worry about the bug.

KnightOwl, thanks for the heads-up, maybe you should send a message to :se: about the bug. I'm sure they would appreciate it.
