I find this rumour hard to believe as the model number suggests its a replacement for the XA rather than a high end device. However If Sony were to throw a high end chip in a mid ranger then what will they do with the flagship of 2017?
I'm so happy 'cause today I've found my friends ... They're in my head

similar design to xz, 145 mm is too much for 5 inch (xa 143.6, xz 146 mm) and lack of fingerprint reader? wont be good..
5-inch / roughly 145 x 66.8 x 7.99mm / USB-C
x has sd650 maybe x2 will have sd820 but lack of sd835 device isnt accaptable.

I hope Sony already has very good solution to the SD820 overheating issue in a mid range or Qualcomm already resolved it |

The 2017 XA does look pretty good. It looks pretty expensive in that shot. The flagship should look amazing. Any guesses as to the name? Xperia XX?

You are probably the only Georgian member here, so linking to your site is kinda pointless.

It has been a while since I came here
A 2017 flagship with Snapdragon 835 and 4GB RAM while others with 821 with also 4GB RAM ?, I don't mean 4GB is awful for a flagship, but most other manufacturers are moving towards more than 4GB for their flagships, and also to make things really a "flagship" you have to distinguish it from the rest, Sony might already tested the platform and saw that 6GB or 8GB will bring no performance edge over 4GB flagship but, it's the market trend now for any flagship to go beyond 4GB RAM; speaking about Android of course..
regardless, @mods, why the 2016 Thread is still pinned/sticky and this thread not ?

I agree completely. Chinese phones with half the price have 6GB RAM and with Sony's price tag they should at least be on par with the tech that the Chinese are offering. |
