@blackzeros
I really hope so. OIS would really help with longer exposure time but doubt sony will go with ois. Let's hope for a high quality lens.
Btw I hope they use the new efficient JDI LCD

I don't think OIS is coming this year. Sony just announced a sensor which takes fast photos. it perfectly matches Sony's approach on image processing, high ISO and fast shutter speed.
Well, at least, Z5 P's successor does not look too bad. ALthough I am still hoping that the back is metal. It worries me ab it that the glass might shatter when I accidentally drop the phone. I like the metal back as it is more durable and classy. |

Yeah ois is not very likely.as you mentioned sony prefers higher iso sensitivity which kinda ruins some shots |

Sony designers are out of ideas I guess.
Look at the bazel of the white one

^ stop complaining. If you want small bezels then buy a Samsung Galaxy s8. People have choices you know |

You are right, but I would like Sony to sell more phones and become more successful but this way they will definitely not, it is just a wrong way, look at that outdated design! They have to follow trends (only the good ones though, and smaller bazels make phone look a lot more attractive, which people like) if they want to do something.
That's the point.

I'm not a big fan of bezels either, as long as they trim down the side bezels just like they did with the XA/Ultra.
BTW: I think we are seeing the XA Ultra, XA, XZ Premium and XZs (from left to right) in that leaked render
XA Ultra bigger and better display to body ratio than XA and both miss FPS
Last two devices seems to be higher end devices from XZ line featuring FPS in the power button. |

Well if you go back a few years you'll remember that Sony were in a deep hole and now they are out of that hole and doing alright. Blackberry and HTC aren't doing so well, Nokia just coming out of hell with no guarantee of success. Samsung had Note 7 issue and fraud investigation ongoing so actually Sony did alright to get themselves back on track.
If the camera is that good on the Sony then people will take it over the small bezel phones but the Premium has to be awesome. |

Does anyone know the size of the new sensor? XperiaBlog are reporting that it's bigger than than the one currently in the XZ.

Just so we don't get disappointed tomorrow,there's a chance XZ Premium uses S821 and not S835.LG G6 uses S821,and there was a rumor Samsung S8 will be the only device using for some time. |

The XZ Premium will use the SD835 or else Sony would release it almost straight away rather than wait till May/June like the rumours are pointing too.

XJ
It's 1.2/3 again but with bigger pixel pitch because of lower resolution.the one on Xz is 25MP actually.
Update from anonymous source:
XZS(name not certain) is destined for Japan and selected regions only. Similar to the X performance but with even less availability due to the focus being on the new Premium. |

@nikos
Keep in mind that the XZ Premium won't be produced in masses unlike the G6 and S8. Due to this Sony doesn't need huge numbers of SD835 Socs. |
