Here is the update :
on MWC next year, all phones will carry a design concept called "Mirai" which apparently translates to "Future" and early prototypes of designs are being considered for release in 2018

looks like Sony will be using Android to take over the world

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirai_(malware)

on a more serious matter, I would have no issue with a camera bump or even larger bezels if Sony decided to add OIS.

Can your source comment on whether the XZ1 Premium with Mirai design will look something like this;

It's going to be interesting to see which way sony goes. I personally think they'll go with an angular design as everything else is very curvy or rounded especially if they look to mimic their tv range

The design doesn't look so practical. The edges seem too sharp, The sharp edges will cut the hand, lol.
Anyway nodar already updated his website about the design info but FAILED to mention where did he get his information.
BTW what happened to nodar? Why isn't he posting his usual bullshit post here?

I like this concept. All colors chosen are incredible.
A 16:9 5.7" screen, 1 cm each bezel and top/bottom as loop would be great.
I think it is nice the XZ can stand ..
A mix of XA and XA1+ would look cool too.
Round corners like the Z3.

On his blog Nodar says info is 100% correct.
In the end he says there is a plan for screen as speaker.
😍... Exactly what I want. Just like the tv.....

A whole new design will debut at MWC next year 100% the design language will be to try and mimic the current TV range so expect smaller bezels and OLED display but keeping the front facing stereo speakers rather than having an acoustic display at least not next year anyway.

@lumberjackX

He's just posting what I said a few days ago. There is no credibility to his website as all he does is scour the Internet for what he thinks is a plausible rumour as posts as his own and gives no credit to the original source.

Well the source hasn't seen the design yet, nor has info on it.but says they'll still be recognisable as Sony product.

Both FHD devices have bluetooth 5.0.
Which CPUs can have BT 5.0?

An article on Sumahoinfo says that there is a bigger chance to be CES, not MWC.

Data say 2 phones have 7.1 and the other 2 have 8.0.
I do not remember to see any device with precious SO after the new SO was already available.

2017 : 7 0, 7.1.1 or 8.0
2016: 6.0 or 6.0.1
2015: 5.0 or 5.1

It is weird to see Sony bringing phone with Android N in early 2018.

A New OS will require a new kernel with drivers, optimization plus other stuff which takes a lot of resources, my guess is that those two with 8.0 are the high-end ones, the two with 7.1 are using a different SoC platform which will take more time as the focus is on the higher-end ones...
