It looks like it's made of metal, so no wireless charging, and NFC moved back to the front of the phone. In my opinion NFC is next to useless on the front of the phone. Just when I thought I found my next phone...

I'll wait to see if it is really 100% metal.
Nexus 6p is told to be all metal.
If you go to youtube and watch JerryRigEverything he says some parts are plastic.
Sony is usually honest about this, Sony has never hidden the fact XZ, XZs and XZP have some parts of plastic.

true, but if the back is metal, then wireless charging isn't possible (since you can't put it on the front), and NFC reader/writer can't be placed on the back of the device.

@nh

Yes.. I choose glass over metal body.
Glass is fragile, not that much.
Metal is going to scratch easier if you do not like case.
Frame of my z3+ is ugly already..

A white dual sim XZP would be perfect for me..

Having NFC in front is excellent for payment, because you do not have to move your hand once you have unlocked the phone with the fp sensor. But it is a disaster if you would like to transfer files.

glass and metal are too slippery in my opinion, like you said metal is too scratch prone, but glass shatters. A lose-lose situation.

You can't see if payment has gone through, or if it scanned at all because the screen is covered. NFC isn't used for file transfer, it's used to pair bluetooth devices, and it's bluetooth that does the file transfer.

More importantly what's the large hole for? Maybe they are finally going with dual flash?

This is much better. Now I don't have to go to Nodar or slashleaks website everytime I want to see the pics.
