This G34xx looks way cheaper than XA1.
NFC on back means is not metal.
Reminds me old Sony phones .
Like Arc, V etc

I think 3 models here, first two photos are of mid-range G34XX.
They finally put fingerprint sensor on mid-range.

The third one is the compact model, G8441.

The last (forth) one is G8341/8342 aka Xperia XZ1.

XZ1 has wider bezel and you can see depression on the side for fingerprint sensor, just like XZ/XZs.

I heard SONY can't make the side bezel thinner as long as they have finger-print sensor on the side.

@XperiaJunkie: Exactly, even with what josephnero is saying now (that this isn't the XZ1). The new design will debut at MWC 2018, also said by him.

@LumberjackX: Pretty sure it's the L1 Ultra, so MediaTek I would say (because L1 = MediaTek MT6737T).

Guys, hold your judgements until we see some official photos.

I think you are wrong. There are two models here. First two pictures belong to one model. Second two pics belong to another model. The first model is probably a mid range with fingerprint scanner.

@josephnero, I think you are right. All the flagship elements are missing from the pics. Especially the missing of tripple camera tech really stand out.

@LumberjackX, Please for the love of god, STFU. You post too many irreverent comments. Stop trying to pretend to be a leaker and bombard this thread with spam like comments.

Third one and forth one are clearly different model (not because of color).

The 3rd one doesn't have depression for finger print sensor (at least invisible from front just like X compact), while the 4th one does.

I am not leaker.. Nor pretend to be.

Just asking if cpu is Mediatek P25 or Qualcomm 660.
Someone on GSMArena says G34xx is called XA1+.
That it has Helio P25, 2620mAh , 32GB.
Just want to know if it is true....

Sorry if my presence bothers you...
But there was no need to be rude...

Well Sony won't omit image sensing sensors on the flagship that's for sure.so we can be sure that first pic is a midrange or a fake chinese phone.not saying XZ1 will be bezeless( I'm not an insider) but that shit isn't XZ1

@hboy857: I agree with RacSony on this one. First two pics are from G34XX, third from G84XX and fourth from G83XX. The volume rocker on the G83XX isn't visible in the same position on the G84XX. The quality of the pics is far from good, but the volume rocker should be visible. At least that disqualifies the idea that the last two pics are from the same phone I think, as they don't share the same volume rocker layout.

@josephnero: What about the XZ1 Compact pic, also not the real deal?

Do not think Sony will be so stup*d to move the fingerprint sensor to the back... it is placed now in the most perfect place and even iPhone 8 will copy it.

I agree, I think the one on the back is simply for the model with a narrow side bezel. A shame about Apple having the patent for the side fingerprint sensor on the power button. Unless they play nice the Xperias will continue to be gimped in the USA

@josephnero: Cheers!

@pt020: I share your opinion. The downside could be the influence on the thinness of the phone. Could be, because I’m not sure if this is really holding them back and if it does, to what extent. For me this isn’t an issue, but for some it might actually be. The upsides could be no camera bump and bigger battery for example. In my eyes this is a rather fair compromise.

@vivftp: I thought a contract with Verizon (expires next year) keeps Sony from selling phones there with fingerprint sensors. Even if that contract expires, they still won't be able to sell those phones there, because of that Apple patent? Damn.
