Orange - Upgrade policy question |

Hi All
As a lot of you are on Orange already, does anyone know their policy on upgrading the software, my local orange shop is getting P800's in an hour or 2 and i am considering switching to orange but am unsure on their stance, as i think the P800 will have many new firmware releases over the next 12 months or so and i don't want to be restricted from these new features they will undoubtebly introduce.
Whats peoples experience with this network?
Thanks in advance

Orange are a very long way behind in approving software revisions for SonyEricsson products. Some software may be outdated by up to 6 months on some products and if you update your software to a non-Orange approved software then you effectively invalidate your Orange care. |

So where would you get the software upgrade done? at a SE service point? and the SIM lock wouldn't affect the ability of the upgrade to work?
Thanks

when the T68>i s/w saga started they didn't invalidate warranty - they just took 3 months to authorise it - will be the same with the P800 probably |
