Their conclusion is what I wrote a few pages back.
Sony are lagging behind the competitors in the camera department.

I for instance would pick my Galaxy S7 over my Xperia XZ in most if not in all situations.
The Xperia XZ is just horrible in dim conditions. Smeary, grainy and truly awful white balance for shootings in dimly lit conditions.

It's pretty bad camera when compared to the other flagships, it looks like $150 phone camera... Sony just seems to have no clue on how to make a proper camera and software and I am sure it will continue to be like that in the future. Long time passed since Z1 and there are only minor improvements over it after 5 generations of new models, 5 generations!

No one can convince me that XZ camera is noticable better then Z1 camera.

just goes to show that camera performance and results to a certain point are very dependent on who is using it and in what conditions. there isn't really any other way to explain the mixed reviews. i personally think the XZ's camera is better than the Z1's. but others may not agree. I've seen many people trash the Z5 or X performance cameras, but DXOmark ranks them in the top 3 score brackets. How can that be?

In any case, I'm happy with my XZ and while the camera is not PERFECT (there's plenty that can be easily improved by Sony if they choose to, I think), it's sufficient for my purposes. That being said, Sony if you are reading this. FIX ALL THE PROBLEMS PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT... so you can be top dog in the camera dept again and increase your sales damn it.

Well. I disagree.
XZ seems to have great colour reproduction and exposure capabilities.
Noise reduction can be a problem, but the photographer may be a bigger issue.

As I have XZ, and have also Z2s shots I made and Z5 as well, I will make some comparisons soon.

Here the similar performance of Z5 is described as good.
Disadvantages are clearly overshadowed by advantages.
So...

And gou ignore the oversharping and color reproduction from the Crapsung S7 We all know tgat People lije you only focus on pay reviews how bad the camera from Sony phone are bad.

But the more problems from the Crapsung S7 camera will ignored, good work 👍👍

@Josephnero
What is that about?

@hello1000
You really sound like a rabid dog.
I have both the Xperia XZ and Galaxy S7.
The S7 doesn't match the XZ in true colour reproduction during daylight but beats the Xperia XZ in everything else, with slightly oversharpened lines even.

You can't navigate Spotify with your navigate buttons in your car when paired?
