The extra screen real estate is great, however the position of the fingerprint scanner is odd and any other colour than black looks ugly with all the sensors across the top. It'll be stunning bit of kit no doubt but I prefer the look of the S7 so far but I'll reserve full judgement until I've seen one myself.

With this type of design the ergonomics will be very interesting. Regardless of bezel size, anything beyond a certain screen size becomes uncomfortable because the thumb does have to stretch and if you have to stretch it makes it more likely to drop it whether it is to touch the top or bottom of the screen. If they made a 5.2 inch version with these bezels then that would be perfect for anyone to use and it would the equivalent of an Xperia Compact. |
