So after I guess more than a decade Ive moved on from SONY/Ericsson and bought my self a Onyx S7 Edge to replace my end of life Z2. Slapped in the Injustice theme too which is awesome.
Was never a fan of Samsung, never liked the saturated display, TouchWiz and the cheap ass build quality and boring design. Was looking to replace my phone and thats when my sister got herself a S6 Edge+ a while back and I loved that phone. Samsung had improved on all those cons I thought they had and thats when I decided Ill go for the S7...loving it!

Thanks guys. It is indeed a beast.
Any idea if its possible to have the People Edge always available? So that I can directly swipe and open it instead of opening the edge panel first and then swiping towards People?

I recently bought out my contract and changed my Microsoft Lumia 950 for a platinum gold S7 edge. My last android phone was the SGS2 approx 4 years ago and had been using windows phone since then. Cant believe how improved the S7 edge is. Build quality is excellent and android has really come on since the SE X10 and SGS2 versions I previously used.

So it came down to either LG V20 OR S7 Edge, and I went with the latter the SuperAMOLED display, huge 3600mAh battery and IP68 Protection swayed me, I honestly thought I was going for the LG but the reports of less than 5hours SOT on it really put me off.
Anyway, loving my Black Onyx S7 Edge - Exynos8890
So refreshing to be back on the OG of Octa Core CPUs SoC, less heat and the battery is taking its time to drop despite the abuse

Congrats man. The V20 is a great phone but the S7 is pretty much the best all round Android available now. Now slap on that Injustice theme

I'm loving it, battery life is superb, got over 7hours SOT on the 1st full charge, will post screenshots tomorrow and give a more detailed view of how I'm coping coming from the Note 4.

Thanks a lot bro, indeed, it is gorgeous and so well put together and I have turned off Animations, now it is absolutely instantaneous in everything it does.
I must say, the display is truly incredible, I cannot believe how much more detailed and dense it is vs. the Note 4's display which is already better than any other manufacturer's display 2years later, simply amazing. It gets me how Samsung keeps improving these displays.

Thanks guys
Absolutely loving this curvy beast the battery life I am getting is phenomenal without ANY sort of Power Saving. I wish I had just gone with this S7 Edge earlier, but I wanted the Note7, never even got to try one, what a shame. Anyway, the S7 Edge is truly fantastic, Samsung did a great job with this phone, the Display, Camera, Design, Build Quality and new TouchWiz UI are fantastic the only let down is the loudspeaker that is a tad weak, other than that I am loving the more compact design vs. my Note 4, the display doesn't appear much smaller.
Here are some screenshots of the sort of Batt Life I am getting, it cruised past 6hours SOT with ease, same with 7hours, then came 8hours, I then got ready to go to sleep as it was getting late, I checked one more time and it was past 9hours SOT going for 10hours but I just couldn't stay up to see that happen, so I plugged it in.
