Can't help it, all this guy does is make wild and unfounded claims in every topic he is in, I'm just curious as to whether he is mentally unstable or just a troll.... Could be both I guess.

Video stabilisation not supported !? (supported on the S6) and only 2,1mp video resolution !? (8,3 & 3,7mp rear and front cam on S6) |

That's surprising... I wonder why its not supported? Or maybe it will be supported in future firmwares?

No i thing (but maybe i'm wrong) that the S7 doesn't have optical stabilisation just like Nexus 6P et Nexus 5X (remember bigger pixels too)
They say "smart ois" but i thing tey're lying, it's rather "smart EIS"

I think that's correct... its electronic and not optical.
Also, that would probably explain why the the camera 'hump' is thinner on the S7... because they took out some lenses or coatings. I would've liked to believe that the absence of OIS could be fixed by an app or something... but if its not in the hardware, then its not gonna happen.
cheers!

I'm skeptical about how Samsung acquired that Dual Pixel AF thing, How it works is way too similar to Canon's Dual Pixel AF let alone the naming, unless they licensed the tech from Canon, I can smell litigation in the coming months
On a sidenote, Canon's DPAF is currently the best sensor AF system in the market right now, so I supposed S7 should also top the AF performance in the mobile side

It is evidenced by the comparative infographic between S7 and S6 !
In fact the new S7 has optical image stabilization (OIS), ie, it has the same characteristic of his predecessor !!!

Big MR preview S7 / Edge and camera compare between S7 and S6 Edge. I see S7 camera worse as detail than S6 Edge 16mp camera.
Ofcourse S7 / Edge are Great devices , with support new Volcano technology. |

I think... you just repeated what was posted above. So I'll just answer you with what GSMArena said...
"The only thing we're not sure about is what Smart OIS stands for. There's no specific mention of optical image stabilization on the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and the less protruding lens could mean it's only Electronic image stabilization (EIS). We'll certainly have to see about that before we pass our final judgement."
So I think even though samsung is saying OIS... its not all that believable at this point. Especially after that camera analysis done by PhoneArena... saying that the hardware does not support Image Stabilization.
For now, Im waiting for a teardown... maybe then we will see what it really is.
cheers!

Its too early to tell if its worse or not... but I find it curious that they went from 16mp on the s6 to 12mp on s7.
The pixels were enlarged too. Will this affect the photo's sharpness when its blown up or viewed in full size? I hope not. But looking at the pics at mobile review... I think some shots from the s6, compared to the s7, do appear to be sharper.
Take a look at these two...
from S7:
http://www.mobile-review.com/[....]y-s7-preview/compare/s7-07.jpg
from S6:
http://www.mobile-review.com/[....]eview/compare/edge-plus-07.jpg
The lights seem to be washed out on the S7 shot.
But I'm waiting for more reviews... its way too early to judge.
cheers!
