I really like the look of this phone, too bad it us not a phablet. Also the battery seems too small
LG's G5 is a radical reinvention of the flagship Android smartphone

Not at all a fan of the design. They did so well with the G4, that was a truly stunning device, this on the other hand reminds me of the old HTC Legend mid end smartphone.
I like the "LG G5 Friends" concept, I wonder in how many regions it will be available though.

I agree about the design - last year was better but I don't mind this one too. Still all metal phone with removable battery and micro so not bad
I reckon lg g5 friends will be available almost everywhere but I wonder how expensive it will be |

Here's to hoping it does well and gets other manufacturers doing similar concepts. It reminds me of all those Accessories Nokias used to have in the mid 2000s, I remember the Nokia booklets of around 2003-2005 had pages and pages of basic versions of what LG is doing. I think Sony Ericsson to had similar accessories.
I'm excited to see how well the Snapdragon 820 runs in these new phones, seems it doesn't bring the problems the 808 and 810 had.

Also I think Adreno 530 is a big step up. But yes let's hope 820 is nothing like 810
I am interested to see how useful these accessories really are. One downside is that the phone has to restart when you change the battery to say camera accesory

Qualcomm never miss a beat with the GPU, ever since the Snapdragon 800 SoC, they seem to have truly come to their own with GPUs.

That's why I like Snapdragon. But that's not to say that Exynos is not good. Anyway good that LG used the top of the line CPU and GPU on this occasion. I am wondering how is this comparing to S7 |

Well you can swap out the battery for a second one, or use that camera grip battery to bumps it up to 4000mAh. Also it does have quick charge 3.0 which is a nice feature.
I like the general idea of the phone, still wondering how LG will price it versus the S7. |

Good point. Also s820 might not be do power hungry as s810. I think it will be cheaper than S7 however the accessories might be pricey . To me USB type c is another reason to pick this over S7
Anyway even though I am a phablet person it is not to see smaller sized flagships |
