A Sony fan know the root and the way of Sony understanding.
Sony never play cards who has the most specifications, thats why Sony use 1080p screen with accurate colors instead am oled 2K fake colors panels.
Second, Sony already shut up Samsung with their 4K true colors IPS panels.
The same their camera's Samsung stand no chance with their oversharping pictures and their stereo waterproof speakers and even better than HTC
Dont play games like other whiners does please.
No need to bully Sony.
OMFG go suck a dick. People are still sony fanboys here and this doesnt mean everything sony throws will be accepted. This announcement was just bad. Stop sounding like a retarded.

To be a fan of something is to not blindly support and eat all of the garbage produced by a company or whatever.
That right there is moronic behaviour.

Agreed. These phones aren't bad, and I'm sure the retail versions will be just fine (hopefully at a good relative price), but there was so much more that could have been done to increase the profile of these devices to the general public and hardcore enthusiasts alike.

I'm a Sony Fan since 1979
From the very first walkman until today and I hope in the future too.
But this year I will boycott Sony ... they must feel that the fans are angry

It is ok to do anything with Sony but at least maintain this thread as rumours . |

The X Compact will be around £360 here in the UK. Which will be approx £250 to £300 cheaper than the iPhone 7 which is a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

The XZ is inexplicably slow, sluggish, and unresponsive, often failing or taking an abnormally long time to register touches. It hesitates for seconds on end before launching lightweight apps like Gmail, Instagram, and Feedly. Webpages in Google Chrome frequently freeze and crash the browser. Even simple tasks like navigating around locales in Google Maps and pinching to zoom seem to put undue strain on XZ’s hardware.
To be fair, I doubt Sony will release the XZ with software like that. I find many previews are poorly written. I mean, at least wait until you're able to review a RETAIL device with retail software before you bash a device. Not just Sony, but any company.
@all
Let's all calm down a little hey?!

honestly a lot of guys here knows me
and i feel the free fall from Z1 excluding the compact line , the ultra and the nearly bezel-less C5 & (XA / XA ultra)
but regards this XZ & X compact
i am really disappointed as i was thinking SONY will high the par with the USP and i was thinking a lot of things me and a lot of guys here
but to b said i was started to hate SONY after the X annonced and truthly i got the X dual with 64 internal after i found it really on par with s7 , htc and g5 performance wise
so i think the XZ will be even better
design wise i am really fascinated with XZ and the colors available |

to those who were disappointed, maybe let's start with 0 hope and 0 expectations?
I am impressed with the camera technology. let's see how it is executed. |

Most people are tied down to a 2 year plan these days which means a most early adopters 2 years ago would've got the Z2 or Z3, now the Z2 and Z3 are worlds apart in terms over pretty much everything when compared to the XZ. When Samsung launched the S7 that to me at least should've been the what the S6 was and because of that the S7 kind of feels like an S6s if that makes any sense. Phones these days don't seem to make a massive leap in terms of design and spec like they used to any more. Think evolution rather than revolution.

I personally would definitely want to give the Xperia XZ a chance. The early opinion of the Xperia XZ should only be considered as a preview, albeit with slightly negative tone to it.
The blue colour and the return of 4K video shooting is enough for me. The tech itself is interesting and if they only can optimise everything to run as intended, then I am sure this will make me happy.

Let me start with my 2 years old Sony Z3 Compact.... its specs are better than the XC so for us it is the wrong start. |

Off topic, but check out the premium gear Sony are pumping out in the portable audio space:

And before you ask/complain, no, Sony can't just make a phone with the same hardware.
