doesn't look like dual LED flash to me? i only see ONE white LED. can't tell what the other two spots are for? a different color LED? laser auto? something else?

Two tone LED flash plus lazer auto focus would be my guess. All will be revealed though in Little over 13 hours.

i hope there is a premium version of the XZ with the special feature.
^even with two tone you can make out the LEDs cause they're both white, just different shades to produce different temperature light. i don't see that 2nd LED there, but yes, all will be revealed.
so curious what the special feature is! this design makes the new nexus look like trash. not that it looked that great to begin with.

If i'm not mistaken I see more than 2 circles maybe even 4 ... 2 small on the left

After seeing this and the fact that we don't know the USP still; I feel lowering the expectation is a good idea.
And besides, I refuse to believe a USP can be this a well-kept secret. There probably isn't any USP.

There are 4 circles altogether, 2 smaller ones on the left, then 2 larger ones on the right, with the LED on the far right. |

pt020 you are correct.
There are definitely two small circles, a larger circle and an LED.
I am not sure what they all do. I don't know what laser autofocus looks like as i've never had it.
here are closeups of the two different devices. if anybody knows, care to chime in? I see a SINGLE LED flash in each, maybe laser autofocus is the second big circle. the two smaller ones i have no idea.

Maybe this is the USP, remember it's something thats never been seen in mobile device before. I've no idea what it is but after reading about laser auto focus I don't think it's that.

My wild imagination tells me that the two small sensors are two lasers
to make it work you need 2 lasers from 2 different angles that will meet and this way it can measure the distance and to focus
(of course I know nothing about those things so forgive me )

when i first saw them i thought maybe they are stereoscopic cameras for 3D?
but they would be pretty low quality and that's not a first in mobile devices.
maybe they are depth sensors though to aid in faster and more accurate auto focusing?
i am sad there is only 1 LED... i was really hoping for 2.
