so the universal app thing is only limited to certain apps that has android and windows version like office? So basically this thing is really still a "Windows RT" then.

Microsoft has released the universal appeal capability though (unifying the windows store ) so that could help. So basically developers can write an appointment that can run on both PC and phone
Anyway nice phone , obviously not a 808 competitor (for camera but then what phone is ) however the camera is good enough -hopefully evene better than what is available on the market . I wonder how the triple led flash is working
Price is acceptable too. The one thing that worries me about this phone is the app thing but the continuum aidea is so tempting |

I think we can officially say that Windows Mobiles/Phones have fully caught up with Androids in terms of hardware.... I mean yes, some Androids have 4GB RAM, they are few though.
I like this 950XL and I like the Surface Pro 4 even more. I really hope Windows catches up App and Game wise. There are still Country specific apps that exist for Android and iOS that don't for Windows.

The one thing that has forever put me off Windows Phone is that it is very closed but now that everything has become unified, I would definitely look into this. Android sucks with Windows PCs, I want the same type of iPhone to Mac sync capabilities.
I currently have a Dell Venue Pro 11 with Windows 10 and its pretty my life now. I love the Surface but the laptop looks very appealing. Having said that, the Dell XPS 13 with the thin bezel is sensational in terms of design, power, usability and portability.
What keeps me with Android is the flexibility to customise the OS. I can do everything on it but I would love to have my phone data on my PC and be able to access my phone through the PC without an internet connection. Sounds simple but I still can't do it. |
