I'm don't think wireless charger is a gimmick at all - actually now that Samsung proved that it can charge the phone really fast I think it is great to have.
That being said I can live without it but what I don't like and this applies to 6s plus model is the lack of fast charging . I don't know why Apple doesn't realise that it takes too long to charge the 6plus
Also I am a bit surprised that 6s didn't get the ois. I wonder if 7 will get it |

Probably comes down the the devices thicknesss, I know the camera bulges out of the iphone but that is probably just the lens and the entire sensor module is inside and the .2mm difference might be enough to exclude OIS from the IP6 and not the plus. |

But isn't the 6s thicker than the previous iphone?
Anyway, the OIS in the new iPhones is probably the same as before, which is half-baked... and there's no announcement or technical data that says that its been revised.
I could be wrong though... so I think I'll wait for a teardown.

Good question, perhaps the extra thickness is not extra space but instead the extra thickness is due to the new aluminum used to increase thickness? While the overall thickness increased, the real thickness inside remained the same. Perhaps this is why but only Apple knows the real reason. |

Even if the ois is only for photos I still think us very useful . I have a 6 plus and it makes a difference compared to 6.
The extra thickness is due to force touch from what I heard same as with 6s plus so they couldn't have used that to fill in the ois
Also has it been confirmed how much ram is included ? I think 2 GB with the better camera might be a good reason to upgrade otherwise I am undecided

Sill nothing exciting on the camera front.. I am starting to loose hope that we will see a quality camera centric phone again

No, this is not the image sensor in this new iphones !
Sony IMX278 has only 1.12 microns per pixel integrated, while the image sensors fitted to the rear of the new cameras have iphones 1.22 microns per pixel integrated !!! |

The extra thickness is due to the 3D Torch/Force Touch hardware now implemented which also takes up space from the battery area.

What's with the 'here we go again"? it's a product with a proper marketing formula that WORKS!
Their pushing their own boundaries while maintaining an improving upon what works. IBM assisting them with corporate focused apps - minimal for now but if Watson becomes integrated with SIRI ... BAM it's over in the intelligent assistant space! Especially if apps can access this via a secure and tight API.
Apple is NO JOKE. Hate them, love them, attempt to vilify them - they KNOW how end user experience NEEDS to be done and perfected it. They'll properly analyze their sales and pre-order records and then audit internally and externally before releasing the data! That is just how smart companies work.
I personally LOVE the 6S ... the 6 I knew better not to buy, just like Windows 98 vs 98SE, ME vs XP, Vista vs Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 vs Windows 10 ... always get the revision!!!
Everyone, especially BlackBerry 10 and Android fans love to hate on Apple but the simple fact is they KNOW their target markets, their market needs and wants and how they can GROW their market share and profits ... they've pretty much re-invented this whole game including Supply Chain ... they even have an internal business course on all these aspects and is being vetted by huge well known USA Universities: Harvard etc.

Pink would definitely suit you - I think you always loved pink in phones, haha.
All in all you're definitely right.
Review sites, forums just about anything posted beyond Apple should warn and invoke change in the end users NOT to purchase even boycott (i hate using that word beyond it's original meaning and purpose) purchasing the iPhone 6S 16GB model. Force Apple to take notice this model does NOT sell and does NOT serve the public interest and to mid cycle stop producing it and replace it with a 32GB option at a the SAME price.
Apple has put in great innovative techniques - such as purchasing and implementing technologies of a company that rapidly compresses/uncompresses data on the fly! Their supply chain for key parts including imbedded storage and RAM is the very BEST in the industry - Samsung is their source and they negotiate the cheapest deals!
