Hi everyone,

A few days ago I’ve found a program which is able to verify stolen photos from the Internet. I’ve found that some motherf**ker has stolen over a dozen of my pictures. What’s worse he did the same with photos of other Esato Members such like cu015170, Sassho, Sylwester, fulger06, petergt and many others.

He uploaded several hundered of photos from Esato into his account in iStock Photo and he sales our pictures. Here’s a link:

http://www.istockphoto.com/portfolio/42ercan#14d4c1d7

I think I have to remove all of my pics from here to avoid similar situations. Of course I have reported that motherf**ker and looking foreward to ban his account from iStock Photo.

If you are interested in programs which are able to verify if some of your pictures has been stolen by some asshole try both of them:

TinEye - https://www.tineye.com/

or Google Graphics – all you need to do is enter to Google.com > right-top corner shows graphics option > click on camera and paste a link to a photo or upload a picture to verify it’s status.

I guess that evil never sleeps

Damn that's bad. But copying photos from internet is easy.

Your report worked I think. Following the link shows his empty portfolio.

UPDATE:

Yes hihihans, iStock Photo reacted extremely fast. They've closed thief's account.

I suggest all of you to check your photos uploated here from time to time by using both Tineye and Google Graphics to make sure your photos are not used by anybody.

Hey!

I was trying the same thing the other day. One of my IG followers stole a photo from another of my followers. But TinyEye didn't work. Maybe because those were from IG? I will try with the other option.

I check some of the ones I've uploaded here. It seems I'm not that good

That's why I'm using both TinEye and Google Graphics. Both of them can show different results and URL to pages where picture has been stolen.

Good looking out man.. I would never think of checking the web for someone like that. Its really hard to deal with copyrighted material on the web in general, but we do whatever we can I guess.

Thanks again! I don't see any pictures under his profile anymore so I guess they took it down.

On a positive note, a photo book company here in silicon valley is using my pictures for their samples and online ad campaign .. legally

Really really disgusting to see this motherf**ker steal our photos and even profit from them, I could identify at least 7 images captured by me in that catalogue

As far as I remember there were also shots taken by io_bg, emporium, nakedsnake, winter08, rikken and LEFTHORSE. He had more than 1200 pics there. About half of them were from Esato.

Good job! And it's even better that the site reacted fast. I got curious and wanted to check the photos he stole. He stole some of my photos as well. All of them are removed but we can see it if we want to.
