there is a good chance that the q4 flags are the y concept as it fits the all metal rumor.

the tube=seamless one is actually ruled out since it is made almost completely out of glass - the front, back and sides one part glass! am i the only one to notice that?
the elemental=the new metal expression (supposedly z3neo) look quite similar to the prototype that was leaked with pictures some days ago for may launch with small changes.

a questions that rise:
1. can a metal chassis work with built in wireless charging?

I think seamless concept is the most beautiful phone I've ever seen. They can ditch the glass on sides and keep the form same. Simply beautiful

@Ricky D
Can you give one metal phone as example that support built in wireless charging (without a case or any other peripheral, hence, built in)? i can't find one.
@xperiazultra
I agree. it is not less beautiful then the y concept but if to judge from these concepts alone, the rumors support the latter.

Today I've got my replacement Z3 compact after the loosened front panel. This is the third unit I use in 3 months. It's a 15W13 unit, it came with 5.0.2. Build no. 23.1.A.0.690..
My first two bad impressions are:
1. Themes just change some accent colours, nothing else. The most superficial themed UI in Xperia phones ever, what I don't like. After boring UI of past models even Samsung and LG offers now fully customisable themes, and after Sony released theme creator tool beta, now it reduces nearly to zero the customisable elements. Another clear step back.
2. I used to play recently Looney Tunes Dash, which now freezes the phone every times I start after just few seconds of the first level. I've downloaded and uninstalled 3 times, but nothing helped. Really bad impression in the first 2 hours of usage (considering that with Xperia V I havent had rebooting, and freezing phone in 6 months, neither with Z3c, runing 4.4.4 Kitkat. So I won't play Looney Tunes Dash for a while.
I've already known that camera haven't improved with Lollipop update. Really bad. I have the current flagship, replaced for the second time. Now I've got a boring UI whitout the possibility of customisation, the phone freezes, and I've got no improvements with the Lollipop update, but I've got the replacement model already running Lollipop.
Sony should convince me even during I use this model if they want to keep one of their most loyal customers. I won't care about Sony's new models if this one remains only a bad experience for me...

This isn't the thread to be complaining about such matters.

By the way there's a contradiction. SD820 supports incell touch tech that can be implemented under the display. So why bother with a button? I think we'll see more refined leaks on the upcoming days.

I know that's a little bit off topic. But this thread is about rumoured software updates as well, which I'm waiting impatiently (unless when I have used Z3 c with 4.4.4).
After hardware issues I'm facing now software issues, so I care also about the roumors which affect my current phone, what could offer a great user experience with a good software but it just annoys me.
Sadly Sony's present phones can't satisfy users (including me, even if I had only Ericsson, Sony Ericsson and Sony phones). Only future models give us the hope that those will offer something great, but at the moment when they become reality and especially when you will become the owner of one, you only get disappointment...

Software design is subjective. I think theh Lollipop UI design to be vastly superior to everything that came before. Stability is something that's a problem with 5.0. Most of this is resolved by 5.1, but that isn't out yet everywhere.

Perhaps you only get disappointment, but I have been quite satisfied.

would be awesome if z4 looked like that with an e-ink ish like back cover that could display a clock and basic notifications. would save a lot of battery life. i like the solid metal design too. hopefully it is a real leak and not a concept
