What's the latest firmware update/upgrade for the T300. How to update it and where to get it. Any infos are graetly appreciated.

I would do it for u...unlocking itself costs 40 CAD, which is around 30 US, and you would have to pay for shipping which is 10 US |

Hey Evil,
What carrier are you with? If you're with t-mobile they'll give you the sim lock code for free just give them some excuse like you're going to Canada for a few months and would like to yuse prepaid fido up there.

In the US there is not authorized saervice point upgrades. You can find people to do it but then it voids the waranty |

I sent an email to simunlock at 11am est and got my code less that 8hrs later and now im unlocked and found a at&t net and a cingular net even though both these carriers are still TDMA in this area. cool!
I would bet if anybody had the name and p# of a valid t-mob US user they could just send an email with the valid users name and # and the imei of ANY phone they want unlocked, I not sure it will work and the user may need to have the same model handset.. it is worth a try.. social hacking can be rewarding
