Hi Everyone,

Newbie here, i'm just asking if this is the right forum/site in searching for software/hardware related problem about my oldies but goodies SE G700 and how to troubleshoot this?. Attached herewith is the photo of my unit and corresponding problem.

Your help would be highly appreciated.

Welcome to Esato. You are in the right spot.
Assuming you have a SIM inserted I would say it's broken. Try a different phone to check. Or try a different SIM to check your phone.

Thanks sir "hihihans"... I've tried switching 3 of my extra/reserved SIM's to other phone and they read/detect it. But to the said SE G700 prove futile.

I would suggest that you try cleaning the contacts in the simcard slot.

Charge the battery with phone off and reboot (charger on).
