full res sample photos

http://www.phonearena.com/ima[....]mages&f=name&id=138331&popup=1

that's the pop-up URL so you can load the images individually (faster)

also, a video comparison with LG
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfwG47I8qf4

looks like sony's now going for the warmth and punch a la apple and samsung. they listened to 'critics' ???
z3's videos are also more stable than that of the G3 (with OIS) although you can see that "warping effect" near the edges

Looking very good for Z3 this time. I don't know what's with warmer photos/videos that makes it look better than those with actual white balance.

Sony Playstation Remote Play on an Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact demo

A little bit of lag, insignificant as long as you don't play online FPS I guess. Video quality a bit reduced as said, but probably good enough when you're lazy in your bed. It's a nice feature a lot of PS4 owners would really want, and it's a nice job they had this exclusive for Xperias.

Some of the show floor samples are blurry in some areas even in the center while sharp on the outside, and others are the opposite.

I'll wait for further samples.

Shame the iso12800 is only in superior auto, since it would have been nice to select the iso in manual mode.

I hope we see more samples soon. If the camera is indeed very good then I might consider the Z3. But of course, I'll take a look at the iPhone 6 first. If it doesn't come with a vastly improved camera then I guess I'll just get the Xperia Z3.

Sony Xperia Z3 vs HTC One (M8): First look: http://youtu.be/sv7O6Tby16U

According to the video the front facing speakers sound the same in terms of loudness and quality! Even though they don't play anything on any device.
I have my doubts, but it would be amazing.

Again who needed laser and more jibberish kind of OIS? The image stabilisation was good in the Xperia Z2 but this is in a league of its own.

Yes but it seems the OIS does not work too well in Nexus 5 and HTC One, even the 2 axis + software combo (LG OIS+) in G3/G2 is not on the same level with Sony digital SteadyShot.

I think this may be the last of the Z phones with this design. They've perfected it here... so much so that I am now tempted to upgrade my Z2 to the Z3 which is quite unnecessary really. I just love those simplified edges and the new colour.

My Z2 has caused me a bit of grief so I was thinking of going with the next iPhone but the Z3... Hmm... the Z3...

Yeah it works but does it work any better than SteadyShot?
According to you it probably does but I don't think so.

It's not the same video but if you compare the posted video by HDBlog, I definitely think SteadyShot outclasses the OIS of LG G3 from the clip I linked to.
