^I guess my palm would always interact with the touchscreen accidently. That's what it feels like

I didn't understand anything. But she looks good. I'm totally agreeing with whatever she said.

@Bonovox: Good to hear. Taking a break is always a good idea.

honestly for me
in all not impressive (camera less than the other 2014 flagships, with the same SD 801 and 3GB ram)
so really normal top notch with even less camera and battery also less or same as the One (M8), Z2 & SSGS5

except in 2 things
the bezels i die for those bezels
the QHD whatever said about the need of it or not, and how much it will take from the battery

3GB RAM is now the standard and should be going forward considering:
screen resolutions, game size and data for maps, polygons & other demanding graphical components
SD 801 more than capable; anything better that is tangible to you or anyone else will be on a 64bit cpu.

I'd trust the IPS HD type displays (last gen I'm sure) or future iterations from LG than any other display as LG has proven great performance since 1080p on Optimus LTE debuted with that resolution. I cannot wait to see performance and how TV, video (movies or VC conference apps perform).

This display is incredible! LG has pretty much ALWAYS been first with great displays and the first to deliver a 2.1MP front camera about 1.5yrs before anyone else got to that size! This display isn't about how it performs for a smartphone ... it's a showcase about going into TV's or Tablets and desktop 4HD Displays (pixels increasing in density as size increases, of course).

Don't hate on LG ... they've fought and improved in EVERY way in the past 3yrs and they deserve all their credit! I wait their first smartphone using a 64-bit cpu end of summer 2014.

3GB RAM isn't really standard right now, only 3 phones have it: the Galaxy Note 3, Xperia Z2 and the G3 32GB, majority of flagships launched in 2014 including the G3 16GB have 2GB RAM.

I have a lot of respect for LG but considering the fact that the G3 is arriving 3 months after the GS5, it's main competitor, yet it offers a less powerful Camera sensor, no water+dust protection, and it uses the same CPU/GPU combo to power a far more dense display? I can't give much credit. Had this arrived with a S805, 3GB RAM on all variants and IP protection, THEN I'd be thoroughly impressed.

Water resistance is not such a big deal, my phone gets wet at work so I needed mine to be water resistant but I don't think people will care much. If the G3 costs less than it's competitors then it suddenly becomes a serious contender. I think it's a great phone and with it's screen and tiny bezels, it does have stand out features like HTC with boomsound for example. Consumers have a greater choice because the flagships are more diverse compared to previous years. Happy days.

This is a very nice phone, I also think it looks best out of the bunch even though I am unlikely to get an Android phone again.

Good job, LG!

But the thing is ... .it's the imbedded GPU that powers the display not the cpu computations! Before passing judgement we need to research the limits of such said chipset and see if it's well within its means. more testing and review times will show what it IS and is NOT capable of and where the threshold lies.

Dups, I agree beautiful phone.
- I may get one for my son unless he wants the HTC M8 (he has my M7 now completely his).

G3 is announced/released later than the rest most likely because they are waiting on the QHD panel. Beside the screen resolution and of course the thin bezel nothing on the G3 really stand out much like the G2 and ZL. Battery life is decent I hope.

LG had on the G2 a battery saving feature for the screen called GRAM which reduces the amount of times it refreshes the screen when you are not scrolling when reading something like a web page by about 10%. I wonder what they have done for this one. The G2 had amazing battery life on Jelly Bean but was worse on KitKat. When it was on Jelly Bean it used to still be at 100% battery after one hours of average usage something I had never seen before. The G2 uses a Lithium Polymer battery but I think the G3 uses Ion. Which is better??

Don't think much of the pics at all, awful sharpening and noise reduction, ruins all the details, I had the G2 and it is very poor, extremely slow shutter and focus in any kind of low light and the processing was bad, still seems bad in the G3.

Not impressed with the camera.
