I have notice that if I am writing SMS with closed flip on normal buttons, I can not erase with "C" and also the second small key is not working.

Seems to me that on the virtual keypad are this two buttons little bit higher than the buttons on the flip.

My P800 was made in France.
Software R1D
Hardware R3A

Anyone same problem????

Hi Radek,

Have you tried recalibrating the screen?

shutt - do what they say, put it back to standard settings, I had the problem, and calibrating the screen did nothing for me.. only resetting it to standard settings made the problem go away.

a friend was telling me about his problems with the 'C' key yesterday and how he planned to get the keypad replaced by SE.

today, my keypad totally packed up. when i try to enter my SIM PIN at startup, all i get are 0's no matter what key i press, so i have to completely rely on the stylus. when i try to enter characters when composing SMS messages, i only get symbols such as $%@* etc. regardless of the key i press. furthermore, the slightest touch of the keys results in these characters being entered. i don't even have to press hard at all.

i have tried recalibrating and also restoring factory settings but nothing works. actually i'm wondering whether the black case that came with the phone has something to do with it. is it possibly too snug and therefore exerting too much pressure on the keypad? i've never dropped or mishandled my phone.

despite this problem, i absolutely love my p800. a truly fantastic piece of technology. [addsig]
