I find the default sms tone for the P800 very soft. If I put it into the pouch and into my pocket I can bearly hear it. Anyone can suggest a good alert tone for the p800 which is LOUD!!!

I use a WAV file from the computer in the Star Trek series... I actually stubbled across 'her' voice cuz I was looking for the computer voice on the Mech Warrior games. The girl on the Star Trek computer's voice cut through really well!!! It's funny cuz I think because of the tone of her voice, the internal speaker on the P800 actually sounds louder than with any other sound file. Too bad her lines sound too sci-fi for me.

There is a simple program called PSMPLAYER. You can re-encode the MIDI file so that is sound louder. You can even change the ringtone format like say from samsung xxx.MMF file to xxx.MID.
