^It seems there's something wrong with your S5 unit? Because those pics are just bad.

This is already a replacement of a faulty one I had and the image quality was exactly the same on the previous one I had.

Mmm weird cause i saw the opposite in reviews except for very low lights
What do you think about these ? http://www.eprice.com.tw/mobile/talk/124/4899662/1/rv/sony-xperia-z2-review/ |

I do think the images should be better than that and equal to the Z1 at least. I don't think the device is faulty I just think the phone in auto mode just got things a bit wrong for example the ISO of the low light shot is 2000 and of the Z1 only 800, plus the fact it is a close up shot that may have something to do with it. That is just a guess though as both phones were set to auto ISO but as not really having any decent knowledge in photography again it is just a guess.

A readers poll suggests the HTC M8 is more popular among readers than GS5

Samsung should consider a new name for their phones. They are all called Galaxy and number 5 feels like just the next upgrade. Not like something new. If they named it Hemisphere1, people would consider it as a new product. Maybe.

The thing is when you've sold +200million units, are climb the list of worlds most recognisable companies rapidly, making multiple billions of $ a year and are one of only two truly profitable companies in an industry due to that paticular brand name, you aren't going to give it up easily.
The Galaxy brand is Samsung's most successful consumer brand, there is no way they are going to change it, not for a long time, especially now with their incredible tie-in with National Geographic's hit show 'The Cosmos'. This is their MS Windows, their BMW Msomething, their Apple iSomething, their Toyota Corolla, their Mistubishi Evo etc... It has a huge following.
Changing names can confuse customers and put them off, its better to just keep the familiarity (Galaxy, Windows, i, M, Evo etc...) and add something to it e.g. Galaxy Note, Windows Vista/7/8, Apple iPad, BMW M4, Mitsubishi Evo8 etc...Thats what LG, Sony and HTC have recently learnt hence their now more stable naming convecntions.

The ones in Rikken's link are very good, I haven't even bothered with the ones posted above, I could see from the onset that they must be taken by a faulty unit, I saw that while viewing Esato on my GS4 screen, so immediately knew not to take them seriously.
I'm pretty confident in Samsung's sensor from what I've seen around, all I want now is confirmation of a beefed up S5 for me to enjoy, I think Samsung already has Htc and Sony beat, I'm actually so bored of this annual cycle I'm looking forward to Nokia and WP8.1 possibly shaking things up, I couldn't even be bothered to laugh at the tons of excuses being made for the Z2 in its thread already WRT: it's Camera samples, Battery, Delays etc... I hope the LG G3 arrives soon to,we need a major shake-up.

Oh it's Hello1000 with his copy claims again, one of my favorite Sony fan excuses.
Well if Samsung did copy it then they did the usual thing of improving it, and doing it better than Sony, like everything else.
