R6A012 is giving me problems! |

I know this blows! everytime i post i have problems!
ok, i went and got my phone SW upgraded from R2E006 to R6A012 at an official Fido Service centre. He upgraded my T68i to R6A012. My Text size is set to Small, i have always liked it like that. Now after the upgrade i'm having the following problems with my Display!
1. All the text is small (which is what i want) except in some menus.
2. Text in the following menus is set to large! :
Call Contact
Missed Calls
And basically every 2nd Sub-Menu. The main screen is fine, the text is set to small, but every second menu option has Large text!
Now this is very annoying! because i loved my phone with the small text. The large text is displeasing to the eye. Is there any way to get it all back to small text?
I have tried Master Reset 2 times and Reboot 2 times. But still no luck.

I used to have re and it seemed to always have the large font on those menu's but either way i don't think it can be changed |

but it was all small text before the SW upgrade!!! aah! help me.....i'm goin nuts here! |

I honestly think they've just changed the format so there's nothing you can do.....maybe they flashed it with the wrong firmware...i use a t68ie and it's always been the big text etc etc... but maybe use have a t68i. I don't know just guessing.... but the easiest way to tell is if you got chinese inthe languages then you're using a t68ie....if not then t68i.... either way at least you mca25 will have the zoom function and backgrounds too. |

My keypad even has Japanese characters on it! 
So i know for sure i have th T68ie, also because the sticker below the battery says so.
So is there nothin i can do at all?
I like the speed of the phone, it has gone up, but maybe i wanna go back to R2E just for the text! this large text is soo annoying!

yeah ie is supposed to be like that with the bigger menus to support chinese characters.
plus u get that extra game.
japanese? u mean chinese right? they dont have t68ie in japan. |

I am sure i have the T68ie and it has JAPANESE Characters. I know that they are japanese characters, because my japanese friend told me so. None of my chinese friends can recognize those characters.
When i had R2E i had like 6 languages on my phone, now i only have english and chinese.
Not that i care, but before R6A i had English, Russian, Farsi, Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic ( dono which lang. that is) , and maybe one more...dont remember that well.
But, if i'm using the english language, shudnt those menus go to small text like they were when i used R2E ?

i never heard about that before.
anyways, the new versions are like that nothing u can change about it. i never used r2, so i don't know about the old ones. but if it really bothers u that much u can try to go back since there's no other way to get rid of it. |

u can't change it. unless u use back the R2 firmware. normally this appear when u have a contact written in chinese(or maybe japanses).
check ya phone support chinese or japanese or not. if they do... tell them u want the european version.
maybe u can try the above.
