@maia
I guess you mentioned something about 2014 design language. Do you still think the 2014 devices will follow what you saw? If so can you re-write what you know/saw please?

I was just thinking about you and the prototype you saw a while back with the camera in the center with a ring around it, half carbon fiber / half metal, and led's around the stereo speakers!

I think What ever Sony will launch in 2014 it should be loaded with KitKat already... It will be enough time for them to have KitKat in a new device that will be launched in March-April timeframe, that's about 5 - 6 months after the source is released...

So if Sony will not launch any more devices in CES, So MWC is the event we should look forward ?

CES 2014 : 7 - 10 Jan. 2014...

MWC 2014 : 24 - 27 Feb. 2014...

I hope that sony will refresh 2014 phones design with all aluminum back and sides instead of glass because the omni balance design is cool but gets old and aluminum is less fragile, so less complains of shattered phones and also some people don't like the shatter film. if not aluminum then use stronger glass without shatter film.

That shatter film is the worst thing Sony use... just use Gorilla glass or dragontrail... most users now install the screen protector even for Gorilla glass phones, this is enough to work as a shatter film + being strong enough to work as a first layer of protection for the device

The Shatter film that Sony uses is so weak, it can be scratched by only keys and coins or any other tools... that shatter thing needs protection by it's own...

@Xajel
Agreed. plus, there are people like me who don't use a film and instead use ultra thin leather folder case that protects also the screen, but anyway a film should not come already on the screen - they need to put in the package a higher quality film that the user can implement themselves and replace themselves, the glass itself needs to be scratch resistance and with oleophobic coating regardless if you decide to implement the film or not.

When is the Z1s going to be released. If it does in fact have a custom IPS display, that's what I'm gonna get.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the Z1s if there similar to the HTC One mini (also a 4.3 inch display) and dimensions of -
132 x 63.2 x 9.3 mm (5.20 x 2.49 x 0.37 in)
