LOL nobody saw this coming...
more or less
Xperia E1 and T2 Ultra...
So really now sony will go with this type of Naming...
Z1-2-3-4...
E1-2-3-4...
T-2-3-4...
Plus ultra, compact or whatsoever
will there be
L2-3-4 or
SP1-2-3-4
in your opinion?
XPERIA T2 ULTRA
From Sony Developer World
Xperia T2 Ultra combines a number of key design features that balance the need for a large screen with portability and battery endurance. It has a 6” HD TRILUMINOS display that extends to within 2.5 mm of the phone’s edges. This means that it has a screen to phone size ratio of 73.6%, which makes the most of the space available and ensures that the phone is no wider than a standard credit card. Xperia T2 Ultra is also slim (7.6 mm) and light (weighing only 173 ± 1g depending on variant differences), fitting easily in a jacket pocket.
Do somebody know what is the app on the right in the raw with the Sony App??
last but not least, the official Smart Cover for T2

BTW I like the T2 Ultra as a product, will sell very good in Asia I think, big screen, low price!
also the screen look awesome, finally they are going with IPS???
Only thing I do not like is that there is no link/resemblance/connect with the Xperia T and the Arc design
From Sony Developer World
XPERIA E1
Great music everywhere
Sony’s audio heritage can be clearly heard in Xperia E1 as key technologies come together with the 100Db speaker to produce a louder, cleaner sound that can hold its own in any environment. ClearAudio+ mode instantly enhances your listening experience and optimises the balance of frequencies, while xLOUD™ ensures that your tracks sound as good as they should – loud and crystal clear.
With a dedicated “long press to launch” Walkman™ button, the Xperia E1 allows for effortless loading and navigation of your tracks. In addition, the pre-loaded 30 day pass for Sony’s Entertainment Network2 music streaming service lets you explore and enjoy almost any song, almost anywhere.
WIll the E series be geared towards Walkman integration?? :3 will we see an AMP??

Out of nowhere Sony has just announced the Xperia E1 (Dual) and T2 (Dual), like the Xperia V back in 2012 . They're not high-end, but they're really attractive, design- as well as spec-wise. Thumbs up!

I love the fact that these phones weren't leaked beforehand!
I guess the E1 is the closest thing I'll get to an android walkman, what with the dedicated W button + LOUD loudspeaker, designed to play your music at high volume. Too bad (for me) it's not a high-spec handset.
I'm also glad that Sony are not deserting the low-end market too. They need to cover all areas if they really want to gain market share.

The E1 looks VERY attractive for a lower end phone and the T2 Ultra has a decent camera and flash. They need to price these right though. I'm VERY tempted by the T2 ultra.

Please Sony, put that speaker from the E1 into a flagship device somehow! |

Closest thing to an android walkman is the android walkman, F-series, sure it is not a telephone but it features a real S-master AMP unlike the E1.
E1 looks great, looks quite competitive for the market. |

The E1 should have been Walkman branded.

The Z2 should have that speaker!
And that black power and walkman button!
Then I could die in peace
