Must say, I thoroughly liked this phone when I tried it, one of the few 2013 smartphones I would've traded my GS4 for other than the Note 3 and S800 GS4. Wish it had a MicroSD slot.
Hope you enjoy your GS4 as much as I have Bono, it's made a great workhorse for me, so much so that I may wait for the Note 4 and skip the GS5, if temptation doesn't get to me.

Yes the black looks like a completely different handset to the white. Absolutely no issues with this G2 seems very stable. Best battery of any DROID I've used so far.
