I bought a Blackberry Q5 but it gets hanged while talking, application is very slow and moreover it is not at all user friendly.

Also the touch screen of this device is worst that I have ever seen in my life. Even the touch screen of low priced sets are much much better than this. It is really annoying after paying such a huge amount, this type of device is launched in the market.

It is possible you have a faulty q5
take it back to the store and ask for a replacement.

I'd suggest doing a "Partial" Backup first ... this way no media is saved just the applications & settings.
Then format the Q5 directly. After the reboot (will take 5mins to format/whipe and auto reboot), then restore to factory settings using BlackBerry Link. Then restore from the backup you've just completed.

User friendly is in the eye of the beholder. There is a lot of resistence to using gestures on a smartphone. Just forget what you know and begin to accept the gestures. Take the time to check the Help built in or check help guides on blogs.blackberry.com or from one of my posts as I created a thread which may help you.
