have a problem

when I put my t68i into the car-holder (HCH-28), it happends really often, that profiles are switching without any reason.. first it shows profile "in car", which is correct, but after couple minutes, or after one (sometimes more) phonecalls it switches to profile "normal" and in couple seconds it switches back to "in car".. it gets on my nerves because when somebody calls and during the phonecall it starts switching, I canīt make the call without removing it from the handsfree..

any opinions with it?? my fw is R5D007

thanx

first I thought that the connector is dirty or somehow damaged, but everything is OK

You merely have a problem with either the T68i contact or the the HCH-28 contact points.

Use some CD cleaning fluid and a cotton bud to clean both points carefully. Once the oxidation is removed, the points will remain securely contacted when the phone is inserted into the cradle. That way, the phone will not keep switching to and fro the 2 profiles.

Hope this help...
