Too much focus on what looks cool, we should be focusing on performance. Considering such a major design on lower icon graphics speaks volumes! (meaning that performance was beginning to lag on iOS6 and updated devices).

same here. I'm looking forward to the new Multitasking especially I'm also curious to learn how AirDrop works, is it through WiFi Direct?

Wow, so the iPhone3GS has finally reached the end of the road, it had one hell of a run though it saw phones like the Nokia N97, SE Satio, Google Nexus One etc... come and go.

support for iPad 2? LIMITED support. Trust me there will be a few features that you will be missing out on. The ONLY thing that I liked for this is ...

Jony Ive and others did great for simplicity in the design UI, so existing hardware that this is allowed to run on will perform well. Standing OVATION! He deserved it but I understand why the stage was given to Frederigi vs Jony (he doesn't like the spotlight too much).

Gestures: oh so BB10 and PalmOS of the Pre; but its needed.

Multi-tasking: seems better but still not fully, their still screwing with processes that is not user selectable. Many iOS apps I've used and you ALL will use on Apple mobile hardware will want to have updates that will not get them if not the most recently used. Push Notifications will be the KEY role in updating these apps with data and THEN we'll see just how well it can scale. (something tells me priority is given to Apple's iOS apps over others. That home button is looking even more tedius for double-tapping by Frederigi on stage, next iPhone may not have a physical button (then again maybe so just not so much impact resistant for those that require accessibility controls)

Remote Control RC from that intelligence and robotics company - they basically featured Spy Hunter in real life that was REALLY cool!! That spoke to the kid and geek in me and LOVED that!!
EDIT: Company is called Anki and their product is Anki Drive.

Poking fun at NFC ... but they only did it for sharing media lol. Funny and I enjoyed it but shook my head stating Apple still doesn't get mobile wallet purchasing, and that other platforms already use WiFi for media sharing and their late to the party. (no doubt many apple forums will be filled with all this raving about AirDrop).

I WILL be getting that next generation Mac Pro!! THAT gave me a super hard-on and my recent Mac Mini late 2012 purchase will be replaced by that machine. In fact my whole home entertainment and media creation will be overhauled specifically for this machine as I'll be starting from scratch. 4K Ultra HDTV here I come (2nd generation not first).
