I hope it does well because the design is outstanding. It looks like it has the soft-touch type back cover, which is always welcome.

The device is an affordable one. Nice design and nice specs coming from a mid-range phone. Though I don't understand their obsession with the variants. One with 4.1 and other with 4.2. That's nonsense.

It'll be ok to have one. The Dual is enough.

As long as there is an expandable too. 8 gig internal alone is quite pathetic as only around 4 gig is actually usable.

True. It gets increasingly harder now with not much can be moved to SD cards. And also large games take up much room too. It's decent dual core specs and should be quite cheap. One thing they shouldn't have done is have on screen keys cos on a 4 inch screen quite a bit of screen space is taken up especially during browsing

Got the Xperia M from my provider until the Z1 Mini will come out (upgrade)
Was very surprised from the performance of this phone so made 2 tests.
AnTuTu Benchmark

Quadrant Standard

Both results are higher than my quad core Nexus 7 first generation

got this phone because of dual sim. But having a trouble with the SD card. It won't read my 32 GB Micro SDHC card.
contacted Sony and they said SDHC is incompatible, how disappointing.
I hope it's not true.

I can't beleive that it can't read SDHC cards as they have been on the market for years. I can beleive it won't read SDXC cards but SDHC is standard nowadays.
The Xperia M white paper says it will take upto 32GB SD cards so must be SDHC compatible.
Have you tried formatting the card on your computer?

UPDATE: Despite what Sony Customer Service said, I actually got my 32 GB SDHC card to work on the phone. been working for days now.
but it seem the phones does not allow transferring app to sd card, though the same thing can be said of the Xperia L. I can transfer app from Device Memory to Internal Storage but not to External SD. Xperia M only have Internal Storage and External SD, I think the Device Memory is the Internal Storage.
Is it a Sony thing or an Android thing that I can't send app to External SD?
