Hi there.
I have just bought a siemens s55 and it has a problem.
In places where my previous phone (motorola 7319 with the same SIM card ) worked fine the calls don't get through and incoming calls are sent to the answering machine. This happens even when the signal seems to be not too bad (2-3 bars/5 on the signal strength display). If I go very close to the window or outdoors it works fine.
In other words it appears to be a sensitivity problem.
I need to know if this is a technical problem with my set in which case I would ask for an exchange or if it is common to all s55 in which case I would ask for a reimbursement and buy another type of phone.
Please I need your input now because I have to decide by tomorrow.
Thanks a lot
Michael

Probably your phone. My S55 has excellent reception, even in supermarket where my t68i would bail out..

mine is fine too, sounds like you got a dodgy handset.
