Hi every one.

When I was a NON-Owner of the P800. I saw that you could download a Camcorder here.
It was'nt on the page it was linked to a nother site. I went there and I saw that you could download it from there.
It allows you to record for about 15 sec with no sound, but it's better than nothing right?

I have'nt been so much for a help, but just want to let you all know that it already exist

it has a limit of 10sec, no sound.
also has ability to play mp4's fullscreen

do a google search or summit. dont bother with a search in esato as most links to the software are dead.

Well even though i did'nt buy my P800 to be used as a video camera i think it is ridiculous that after all this time and talk of one becoming available soon that there is still no decent software released to allow the user the option to record if he or she so chooses. after all this is a P800 we are talking about and not a Nokia 7650, which like the P800 was'nt originally released with any camcorder software, but now has more video cam support than bleeding Dixons in the high street.

Do you mean that the .rar file will not open or the .rar file opened but the file inside will not install on the phone? If you mean the .rar file will not open then a program like winrar is what you need. I tried the link out and was able to download, install, and run the sofware via the instructions given within the download just fine.

If anyone is interested, I have the acutal software for the P800 that makes it into a vidoe camera. There are two versions of the software. One version for the older firmwared phones and a version for the newer phones.

If anyone needs the software, I will send it to you. Is there anyone that is interested in hosting it?

My address is: sapporobaby@netscape.net

Be forewarned that this software only makes movies of about 10 seconds in the mp4 format, and the quality is by no means professional. Other than that it is okay. Better than the Nokia version in the 3650.
